Criminal

One of the best shopping experiences from my London trip was visiting the Criminal Clothing flagship store in Covent Garden.
Criminal Clothing is an English brand that I've never seen before. The style is quite young, rough and modern. I bought a pair of khaki pants and this very cool leather belt.

Smells like teen spirit

Speaking of fragances, when I was younger the Lancome Trèsor was my favourite. Smelling it today brings me back in time and reminds me of those times. The drinking and the dancing back when me and my friends were still too young to get into the clubs we wanted to go to. We had the time of our lives. It's funny how smells can recall memories so strongly.

Anyway, the Lancome Trèsor is still going and strong and Kate Winslet is made the new face of the brand, succeeding actress Isabella Rossellini.

Today, I prefer Issey Miyake's L'eau D'Issey. It's such a fresh and light scent. As the summer holiday (including tax-free shopping) is getting close new scents might be discovered.

Bitten launched

...under the statement "fashion is not a Luxury". If this is supposed to be fashion they are right about that. Super boring. All garments under $20 and certainly not worth more. Will she ever be seen in this without getting paid for it? I doubt it.
Such a same for such a stylish girl like Sarah Jessica Parker to put her name on this line. And all her criticism against L.A.M.B just drags it down even more.

Smells like lamb

Gwen Stefani's debut fragrance - L by Gwen Stefani - is out on pre-order at Nordstroms. It is described as "a fusion of masculine and feminine with a luscious floral scent that bursts with sparkling freshness and then wraps you in the warmth of sensual musks".

I love cardi

The cardigan must be one of the best garments ever invented. Ecspecially in the summer time it's just perfect. I carry one with me almost every day for work where the air condition blocks the summer heat out. In this way, I can still wear my summer outfits without getting cold.
Other places where it's great to bring a cardi is to the movies, out for late night drinks with your friends, at barbeques and garden parties, in airplanes etc etc.
As with everything else, cardigans come in all kinds of forms, fabrics and shapes. If you are really lucky you can find a classical cashmere cardigan that will last for years. Just as perfect over a dress as with your jeans.

1. L.A.M.B cashmere cardigan . Soft and luxurious.

When it comes to colour the cardigan gives you a great opportunity to spice up any outfit. For example, if you have a pair of red shoes, choose a red cardigan worn with an all black or white outfit. Choose pastel cardis for summer and save the warm black one for winter.

3. Catherine Malandrino cardigan.

Great dress

Katherine Heigl has great style and I think she looks extra great in this Voom kimono dress. I want it!

dVb

Denim by Victoria Beckham is out on pre-order. Check it out at Kitson.
Personally I don't like it. I must admit that the crown jeans was a genious idea. No, I've never owned a pair but at the time they were released the design was new and hot. And later copied in millions. This is just.... boring. From someone that seems to be so into fashion I had expected something much better.

Miss Universe in Gucci

Miss Japan recently won the Miss Universe pageant. I was quite surprised to see that she wore a Gucci dress from the spring collection on stage. Not very original. Even Oprah Winrey has been seen wearing the same dress some months ago.

Great designers for the movies

Rumours say that a movie about the life of Vivienne Westwood is on the way. Also announced are two films on the life of Coco Chanel. Looking forward to being served a journey through the life of these two groundbreaking designers.
